It's Barbecue Time!
 
We are teaming up with the Monadnock Humane Society for this month's barbecue! 
They are holding their 27th Annual Walk for Animals fundraising event here at the airport.  You are invited to come out, bring your pet, and participate. 

Registration for the event begins at 9AM, the Walk starts at 10:15AM, and lunch is at noon beneath a tent in the airport terminal parking lot. (You don't have to bring a pet or participate in the walk.  You can just come for lunch but please remember this is a fundraising event for the Humane Society.) 

Aerobatics Practice

 

The New England Aerobatic Club will practice at Keene on Saturday, weather permitting.  They will brief at the terminal at approximately 9:30AM and have invited the public to listen to their safety brief.  Their practice box (see picture below) does include modifications to the pattern at Keene so please check NOTAMS.

Congratulations Robert

 

Congratulations to Robert Roland for earning his Private Pilot's License.  Robert trained with CFI Rick Beck and had his checkride with Designated Pilot Examiner Greg Livernois.  Robert is an Out of the Blue Scholarship recipient and hopes to continue his training to become a commercial pilot.  Well done Robert!

Poker Run Next Weekend

 

The Air Direct Airways Poker Run is next weekend.  We, of course, are participating. Other stops include Concord, Rochester, Laconia, and Biddeford. You must "buy-in"  from Air Direct Airways (by phone or email), but you can begin your run at any of the participating locations.  
 


 

Keene AAC Meeting                         
                              
Keene's Airport Advisory Commission meets the third Friday of each month at 8:30AM in the terminal.  Their next meeting is tomorrow; click here to see the agenda. The public is invited to attend.
