Greetings! Spring is developing into the "Mission Festival Season" for the Appalachian Mission Partnership. In April and May I will make presentations to congregations and para-church organizations in three different Ohio District regions.
The focus of the presentation is what God is already doing in Appalachia through our work, especially stories from those serving "in the field." It also outlines our future plans.
If your congregation or organization would like a presentation about our work in Appalachia, please contact me. With enough advanced notice we can create a memorable experience for you church and promote the cause of Christ in Appalachia. Kevin Wilson, AMP Founder |

| Lutheran Mission Partnership for Eastern Kentucky
Paintsville KY continues as a hub of activity for mission work for AMP this summer.
The first ever Bobby Carpenter Football Camp will be held in Paintsville June 13-15. High and Middle School football players will participate in football drills in the morning, servant events in the afternoon and faith based activities in the evenings. In addition to former New England Patriot's and Ohio State University linebacker Bobby Carpenter, partners include the Concordia University - Ann Arbor football program, Good Neighbors and additional local businesses. Generous financial support has come from the Ohio District Church Extension Fund and DORCAS. For more information, contact Deaconess Deanna Cheadle at seohiodcs@yahoo.com.
The Lutheran Mission Partnership for Eastern Kentucky will also host the third annual week long servant event in Paintsville, July 7-12. Again, contact Deaconess Deanna at seohiodcs@yahoo.com.
The Lutheran Mission Partnership of Eastern Kentucky has received word that was blessed with a two-year grant from the Ohio District Lutheran Women's Mission League. The grant will help fund servant events.
As the work of sowing the seeds of the Gospel moves forward, the partnership is still looking for spiritual leadership in the Paintsville area. The goal is still to ultimately launch a congregation in Paintsville, one of three or four in eastern Kentucky.

| Appalachian Mission Partnership
AMP is a catalyst for mission work in Appalachia that results in Lutherans starting new congregations in their communities. Our passion is seeing God transform people by His grace found in Jesus into people who live through this grace. Thus our vision in Appalachia is to see God's grace flow from person to person, family to family and community to community like the rivers and streams that course through Appalachia.
