SOME FUN THINGS TO DO IN FALL
It's no secret that the weather is changing. Whether you've begun to hear the crunch of leaves beneath your feet, or you've noticed the influx of fall-themed items in the stores or on the Internet. 1. Attend a football game. Get tickets to see your favorite professional team play, or make a trip to your college's homecoming game. 2. Have a Thanksgiving pot-luck a few weeks early - consider it a "taste-test" for the real thing. 3. An oldie, but goodie... Apple picking is a must! There really is something special (and tastier) about apples you've picked yourself. 4. Make a homemade warm drink for those cool nights - apple cider or hot chocolate both sound good to us! 5. Try out some seasonal recipes to go along with those drinks. At the top of our list are apple butter, pumpkin muffins, and butternut squash soup. 6. Switch out your closets. Put away those worn summer clothes and break out your fall wardrobe. Bring on the cozy sweaters! 7. Go camping or hiking at least once more before it gets too cold. Bonus points: you get a workout, plus a chance to see the leaves change color. Come to The Villages for some great hiking trails...over 7 1/2 miles in our beautiful hills overlooking the Valley. Italian Club Street Faire - OCTOBER 5, 2013

The Villages Italian Club will be having an Italian Street Faire.
Tickets will go on sale beginning September 7, 2013. Admission is only $10 in advance and that includes five $1 tickets for food, games, novelties, etc. and $15 on the day of the event. Want to learn the Tarantella? Jo-Ann Graham will be giving the instruction. In addition their will be two live music bands for dancing, Italian cooking demonstration, games, Italian Novelties and jewelry, a tattoo parlor, an incredible fortuneteller, and of course, many Italian food items made by great cooks from the Villages Italian Club. ![]() Bring your families, friends and kids of all ages to the Cribari Center from 3 to 7 to enjoy this great afternoon!

The law permits a Prop 13 property tax base of a primary residence to be transferred from a parent to a child. This can make the difference - if you inherited the property within three (3) years of your parents death, file a claim with the County of Santa Clara requesting the application to determine if you can receive your parents Prop 13 property tax base.

Zumba Class
| Zumba Gold takes the exciting Latin and International dance rhythms created in the original Zumba and brings them to the active older adult.
Classes are on Mondays, September 9 through September 30 at the Cribari Auditorium at 6:30pm. You can sign-up in class for only $24 per person for the month of September.
