This group is a part of a state-wide network of community-based, non-profit organizations that recruit, screen, train, and supervise volunteers to "Speak Up for a Child" removed from home due to abuse or neglect.
The Ringwood Hunger Walk joins us in the second non-profit spot. Stop by to sign up for the walk and learn how you can help.

Vendor News
Bialas Farms ~ This weekend is the last day to sign-up for their Winter CSA. Applications are available at market or at BialasFarms.com. Bi-weekly drop-offs will coordinate with the Winter Farmers' Market. Think of their CSA as your personal 'Iron Chef' test: you get a surprise box of veggies and have to make dinner all week.

Edgwick Farm ~ As the goats near the end of their lactation, there will be a limited supply of Canterbury chevre, whole goat milk ricotta and the bloomy rind cheeses, Firthcliffe and Aleck Meadow. E-mail ahead to reserve your cheese at edgwickfarm@gmail.com or come early to market for these cheeses. The new baby goats will start being born on January 10th. "Like" us on Facebook to get the latest birth news.
Janet's Baked Goods ~ The Market still has a few more weeks to go! To all my Boy Scout and Girl Scout Friends (Parents, Too) who are going to be camping this weekend - Have a great time- enjoy! Can't wait to hear about it when you return.
Stop in at the market for freshly baked Carrot Muffins, Vegetable Focaccia and assorted freshly baked breads! We'll also have our Almond Croissants and Almond Apple Croissants. OR try our Oatmeal-Topped Apple Crisp, served it with warm vanilla ice cream or fresh whipped cream for a tasty treat. If you purchased the new Wheat Bread, made with fresh local apples and no added sugar - just the sweetness of the apples - please let me know what you think.
Fontanarosa's will not be at the market this weekend due to a family commitment. Be sure to look for them next weekend!
Don't forget our other great vendors: B&B Jams, Conturso's Market, Edge of Knife, Hudson Valley Pantry, The Joi of Pickles, Moon Doggie Coffee Roasters, Pastabilities, Orchards of Concklin, Red Barn Farm, R&L Greenhouses, Snoep Winkel Farm and Walnut Grove Farms.
