We would like to inform you that Medical Mutual will be refreshing members' 12-digit identification number. Group officials will be receiving a letter notifying them of this change in the upcoming weeks. Members will receive their new identification numbers upon renewal. 

When members receive a new ID card, they will be instructed to discard old ID cards and begin showing the new card to their providers.  We have provided a sample of the new ID card so you will be aware of the new look.

Medical Mutual will still be able to identify members by their Social Security number, current identification number or the new identification number. Keeping all three numbers associated with the member will help ensure a smooth transition.
