Celebrate a graduation, honor a favorite teacher or coach
What better way to celebrate a graduation, honor a family member, pay tribute to a faculty member or coach who inspired or commemorate a team championship than with a specially engraved brick or paver in the beautiful Sacred Heart Schools piazza. Your brick or paver memorializes your ties to Sacred Heart Schools as well as advances the heritage of excellence that is our distinction. Click here for details on how to leave a lasting legacy. Interlude 2013 was a roaring good time for the more than 500 parents, alumni, faculty/staff and friends who attended the annual dinner/auction on March 9. The big winners of the night were Stacy and Craig Olmstead, whose lucky raffle ticket netted the $25,000 grand prize! Cadence Olmstead, an SHMS Level 2 student and graduate of SHP, sold her mom and dad the winning ticket. The Olmstead's son, Craig Jr., attends SHP.
The real winners are the students of Sacred Heart Schools! Thanks to YOU, Interlude surpassed its goal of netting $220,000! All proceeds from the auction and raffle directly benefit your child in the classroom. When you see or visit one of our sponsors, please be sure to thank them for their generosity.

St. Angela's Pope
In the January issue of The Link, we learned that when Angela was 56-years-old, she evaded a request from Pope Clement VII. The Pope was going to offer her a position involving nursing in Rome. Angela felt so confident that God wanted her to work in Brescia that she left in the middle of the night so as not to have to say no to a Pope. But what else do we know about St. Angela's Pope? Your Child is Our First Priority: School Safety Update
The SHS Security Task Force continues its review of school safety measures. Presently, the team is investigating classroom door locks that will be consistent at each of our four schools and will be easy to trigger in the event of a school lockdown while not being intrusive during the normal school day. The team has participated in a number of webinars on school safety and will continue to review policies and procedures in the coming months. |
