SHP students wowed SHA Spanish students with the ir knowledge of the Spanish language during a recent visit to the preschool by Marie Griffin's classes. The high school students taught the preschool students a number of Spanish words and phrases through song, dance and hands-on activities. The teenage girls and preschool boys and girls used their Spanish to create Mr. and Mrs. Potato Heads, many of which fashioned sombreros, barbas, zapatos, and bigotes! Count your blessings
As we reflect on the many blessings in our lives this past year, we hope that one blessing you count is your son's or daughter's education. Parents like you who choose to give their child the gift of a Catholic education are like-minded: You understand the value of a private education and all it affords your son or daughter. During this season of giving we ask that you express your support of Sacred Heart Schools - and your child's education - with a gift to your school's Annual Fund. Your year-end, tax deductible contribution can be made by December 31 online or by contacting Stephanie Williamson, manager of annual giving, at 502.736.6501. |
