News! Renew eBooks from your digital shelf. |
We're giving you more time. |
Now you can renew the eBooks and audio books you've downloaded from OverDrive, the Hancock County Public Library's digital catalog:
- You'll see the renew option on your OverDrive bookshelf three days before a title is scheduled to expire.
- Titles can be renewed once.

If you liked that, you might like this . . . |
Use the recommendation tool our librarians use: NoveList. |
How do we know? Our librarians use a book recommendation service called NoveList to help people find their next good read. And now, we're opening the database to our cardholders for a look behind the curtain.
Find author read-alikes, "best of" books by genre, award winners and feature articles to help you discover more of what you like. There's also a section for children's literature.
If we don't have it in the catalog, just ask us; and we'll probably get it.

Get back issues of magazines you missed . . . |
Our digital magazine service has other improvements, too. |
Enjoy endless, free magazines on your smart phone, tablet, or PC using Zinio. And now, our digital magazine service has gotten even better:
- For the first time, you can download issues of favorite magazines you missed (back to October 2012).
- Check out multiple issues before viewing them in your Zinio account. (No more back and forth for each magazine.)
- The library's landing page has three links under each cover:
- describes the magazine
- lets you download the latest issue
- lets you see the back issues that are available
Download magazines to a mobile device or stream them online through your computer browser.
