The Latest Buzz On ...Fashion, Food & Fun
Party Like It's 1965 - Studio 123 Grand Re-Opening Party June 5-7
When converting past styles into present tense, it's easy to get lost in translation. Unless you're as talented as Martha Richardson, Molly Rohde and Charlotte Smith, owners of Studio 123. These pickers are sitting pretty with perfectly polished vintage furnishings at their new location of Studio 123, 1505 Capital Blvd. #15.
Come celebrate the reopening and much larger space on Friday, June 5 through Sunday, June 7. Browse the 15,000 square foot space filled with resurrected furniture and treasures transformed from ordinary to extraordinary while enjoying cocktails and horderves from Chirba Chirba as well as a chance to win great raffle prizes. Raffle ticket proceeds will go to the Boys and Girls Club of Wake Co.
Studio 123's grand opening party begins at 10am till 8pm on Friday and Saturday and on Sunday, from 12 noon till 5:00pm.
Hunters, Gathers, and Hoarders, Oh My! You love the character of vintage furnishings, but with all the peeling paint, rust, and old wiring, they can be a little scary up close. No worries at Studio 123 because Martha, Molly and Charlotte are serious collectors who troll through antique shops and yard sales that line the streets from New England to the deep South. These pickers dig, haggle, and fall in love with unlikely ephemera of new and vintage furniture, custom painted, art and accessories from every era. They'll eliminate your fear by restoring, lacquering, cleaning, painting or polishing vintaged furniture to look like new again. Rewire, lamps and chandeliers and perfectly polish accessories & knickknacks that make the piece look at home.
Eclectic mixes of colorful traditional, contemporary and vintage decor along with various pieces from local artisans make it fun to check out Studio 123's treasures. The stock is always changing, so you're sure to find something new and unique every time you go. See? There's nothing to be afraid of.

Brew Ha Ha - Bottle Revolution Grand Opening May 30 @ Greystone Village
Cool. Smooth. With just enough going on up top. Yeah, you'd tap that. Don't get ahead of yourself. We're talking about Bottle Revolution Grand Opening May 30th at Greystone Village Shopping Center off Leadmine Road in North Raleigh (next to Gonza Tacos y Tequila).
Thirsty for brewskies? Thirsty for knowledge? These craft label enthusiasts cover all the bases. Here's what's so special about Bottle Revolution:
At Bottle Revolution everything may be sold in singles. For the beer geeks who want to constantly try new things, this is key, as you don't have to commit to a six pack for new beers you'd like to try for the first time.
The domestic selection is the best in Raleigh. They have their usual selection of the common good beers, but they also cycle through the new brews quite often. There are usually four to six high quality drafts available. When they run special events, the draft quality goes off the charts.
Service is amazing with all friendly and extremely helpful staff who really know their beers. 13 Beers on Tap always at the beautifully crafted tasting bar with hundreds of Beers and Wines.
Beer and Wine Garden (outdoor seating on front plaza)
Private room (reserve for meetings, catered dinners, etc)
Beer of the Month Club (hint...best Father's Day gift ever, sign up starting next week, stay tuned)
Ted Gross, owner of the first Bottle Revolution shop on Lake Boone Trail has entered into a licensing agreement with the new location's owners, Jon Seier and Bucky Van Nortwick, a regular customer who previously owned a craft beer business.
The 2,000-square-foot store's Grand Opening Party is Saturday, May 30, 3pm to close (Beer, Bands, Appetizers). The store will have eight beers on draft as well as four wines on tap and a larger emphasis on wine.

The Beltline Buzz items are selected by our editors. No one can pay to be featured on
The Beltline Buzz.. That's what advertising is for, and it's always labeled as such. Selling ourselves (literally) would destroy the legitimacy, integrity, and fun of
The Beltline Buzz. Plus, we'd never earn your trust that way. So we'll never make a dime off your meal at a restaurant nor a penny from the sale of the latest accessory we told you about.
That said, on occasion, we will send out "Dedicated" e-mails on behalf of sponsors. You'll recognize them from the subject line: "The Beltline Buzz Dedicated E-mail." Yes, these are paid for. And, no, we would never sell our subscriber list to anyone. Not for any amount of money.
We hope that you continue to enjoy your Beltline Buzz. We look forward to delivering it.
