Hot to Trot - Fun, Fearless & Fit for Fall at Pure Barre

Its time to get a move-on after sitting on your butt all summer long. Negate your laziness and get moving before SAD sets in! To help we'll guide you to Pure Barre in Raleigh's North Hills, Cary's Park West Village and North Raleigh's Falls Point for workouts that are low-impact, isometric movements that target and tone certain areas of your body.

Pure Barre's known as the fastest and most effective way to change your body. Pure Barre combines fat burning and toning exercises to get you on your way to your best body. Workouts are a cross between ballet, pilates and yoga but also so much more. The best part is, you need no prior experience to sign up!

North Hills Pure Barre manager, Mary Fogleman shared some ins and outs of Pure Barre.

"The goal of Pure Barre is to work the muscles in isometric movements. These small movements are what help to tone and lift your body."

Fogleman said clients would usually start to see results in as few as 10 classes, as long as those classes are done consistently; three to four times a week is best.

Women all over the US claim that Pure Barre is the not so well kept secret to shedding inches off your body. Pure Barre is taught by an instructor who encourages you to push yourself to gain the results you want to see. This 55-minute workout will be full of energy and fun music. It focuses on a lot of the areas most women see as "problem areas." These areas include the upper arms, lower abs, hips, thighs and your backside.

Pure Barre is a great exercise to try if you are looking for a total body adjustment. Sign up  online or call 919-896-7464. They offer a new client special, which gives one month of unlimited classes for $100.

Try It for Free: Pure Barre will also participate in September's Wellness Wednesdays free fitness opportunity. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, September,17 and come out for a workout and great time in North Hills. Ami is teaching a free Pure Barre class at 7pm at the midtown green in North Hills (by Chuy's). Participants should bring a towel or yoga mat. Pure Barre will give away one free month for a participant (and a friend of their choice).

Just one more reason to get your rear in gear!

The Beltline Buzz items are selected by our editors.  No one can pay to be featured on
The Beltline Buzz..  That's what advertising is for, and it's always labeled as such.  Selling ourselves (literally) would destroy the legitimacy, integrity, and fun of
The Beltline Buzz.  Plus, we'd never earn your trust that way.  So we'll never make a dime off your meal at a restaurant nor a penny from the sale of the latest accessory we told you about.

That said, on occasion, we will send out "Dedicated" e-mails on behalf of sponsors.  You'll recognize them from the subject line: "The Beltline Buzz Dedicated E-mail."  Yes, these are paid for.  And, no, we would never sell our subscriber list to anyone.  Not for any amount of money.

We hope that you continue to enjoy your Beltline Buzz.  We look forward to delivering it.
