Byway to Heaven - NC Fresh Catch Highway 64 Summer Tour, June 21

Pittsboro Party: Hwy 64 is one of four scenic NC byways and is the gateway to the Outer Banks. The longest numbered route in NC, it's a scenic adventure through rural towns and cities (& unique eating destinations). In honor of this famous route, NC Fresh Catch is kicking off summer with its Highway 64 Summer Tour on Saturday, June 21 in Pittsboro. The NC Fresh Catch Hwy 64 Tour is a musical, culinary and cultural excursion featuring NC's freshest seafood and local produce. Serving lunch boxes, dinner plates and family-style/group picnics all day, patrons can eat under a tent or bring their blankets and chairs and make a picnic on the grass or along the music stage pavilion.

Island Flair & Swampy TonkNC Fresh Catch is a statewide concert series promoting   the richness of North Carolina's natural and creative resources. Partners include a range of musicians and artisans, local and regional farms, fisheries and craft breweries. Its Highway 64 Summer Tour brings Island-style flair to North Carolina's table (see Menu below). The seasonings will get your taste buds popping and the music (featuring The Red Hot Poker Dots) will get your heart pumping to what's best described as "swampy tonk" - a cross between hot rod and bluegrass disco. The main dishes are mouth watering ... but save room for the fresh fruit cobbler dessert!

Menu: Down East Clambake, Island Style Fish 'n Chips - Calabash-Style, Grilled Jerk Chicken w/ Jamaican Rice & Peas, Jamaican Peppered Prawns w/ Cornbread, Island Veggie Cook-Up, Smoked Fish, & Fried Shrimp Basket.  There are also A la carte items for kids or adults.  Click Here for descriptions and prices.  Also, check out the Bands.  See you there!

The Beltline Buzz items are selected by our editors.  No one can pay to be featured on
The Beltline Buzz..  That's what advertising is for, and it's always labeled as such.  Selling ourselves (literally) would destroy the legitimacy, integrity, and fun of
The Beltline Buzz.  Plus, we'd never earn your trust that way.  So we'll never make a dime off your meal at a restaurant nor a penny from the sale of the latest accessory we told you about.

That said, on occasion, we will send out "Dedicated" e-mails on behalf of sponsors.  You'll recognize them from the subject line: "The Beltline Buzz Dedicated E-mail."  Yes, these are paid for.  And, no, we would never sell our subscriber list to anyone.  Not for any amount of money.

We hope that you continue to enjoy your Beltline Buzz.  We look forward to delivering it.
