Trends to Try for Fall - These Looks Are Ready for Harvest

Before wanderlust gets the best of you, set your sites on a few shops right here in the Triangle showing the latest fall trends that flatter, fit and put you in the game for a new fall wardrobe. You don't need a plane ticket to wear the latest.

Layfayette 148 Lafayette 148 New York Fall 2013 Trunk Show is going on now till Saturday, August 3rd at Cameron Clothing Co.  in North Hills. Steeped in modern luxury, the fall 2013 Collection features lush colors, textures rich with dimension, and details gilded in gold. Exquisite atelier touches elevate styles from the inside out for designs truly worthy of desire. Be sure to stop by and check out the entire fall collection.

Lafayette 148 New York specializes in clothing and accessories in women's, petites, and plus sizes.  Cameron Clothing will pre-order merchandise for you before it becomes available in stores later this year. For questions or to book appointments please call Cameron Clothing Co. at 919-420-0411.  To see their current selections, click Lafayette 148 website Hours: Mon - Sat 10am - 6pm.

  Beija Flor

More is more might be the color motto for the street-style set, but this season's head-to-toe vibrant colors make the strongest impressions. Beija Flor pants found at Certain Things in Cameron Village are easy to pair with fun tops and textured sweaters for football games or everyday outings. This addition to our wearable trends list was a no-brainer.

Layfayette 148 Gray Matter - Not everything is black or white. Fall's runways were rife with the in-between... from charcoal to slate, consider it the new neutral. Gray textured jackets and sweaters from Lafayette 148 combined with sleek charcoal pants will flatter any modern woman. Find these at Cameron Clothing in North Hills.

Block Party - Colors are made to be mixed, and for the coming season that means CT Weekends layers of hues that are just a touch off or black, white, camel and navy styled graphically for a welcome, pared-down take on the trend. Didier-Parakian's explosion of colors and prints, enlightening senses with originality and freedom of shape are found at CT Weekends in Cameron Village.

Worth New York Street Wise - Leather has become a staple of the runways, no matter the season. For autumn, the new way with hide has an urban sensibility that's a little bit tough, a little bit punk - rebellion never looked so chic. Worth New York's fall line has a fabulous black leather ponte coat shown with an optic white two tie neck shirt and flannel white stretch cotton frankie pant.

Step and Repeat - The story on pattern for the season is distinctive and repetitive, a Certain Things Warholian screen print idea that's graphic and striking. Lynn Ritchie's fabric and fit, combined with an exciting and dramatic patterned prints has a profound effect on the way you feel. Her tops are about so much more than just comfort. Its signature patterns and designs fill a unique niche. Lynn Ritchie tops are found at Certain Things in Cameron Village.

Bold without being flamboyant, comfortable while still figure-flattering, the fall 2013 fashions
are basically a buyer's dream. The new trends that have 'wear me now'  written all over 'em!

The Royal Nursury - Jaw-Dropping Room Ideas for Your Prince or Princess

With the arrival of a new prince, our thoughts couldn't help but turn to the incredible nursery that's awaiting the newest heir to the throne. You're probably not part of the royal family, but you no doubt crave a room just as special for your own baby. We've pulled together some of the most regal nurseries we could find to help you create a unique room for your little prince(ss).

Although your new arrival may not be heir to the British throne, he-or she-is no less deserving of the royal treatment. Take inspiration for your own royal nursery from these grand designs. Franck would be so proud!

Serene Majesty

A combination of patterns in tangerine and grape give this nursery a sophisticated edge. A Louis XIV-style ottoman and purple Lucite chandelier add a touch of glamour to the room, making it a playful but serene space to spend time with baby.

Traditional Times Two

This nursery is traditional yet anything but typical. With a discrete alcove for each twin, they'll each feel like  the unique individuals they are. A seating area lets both Mom and Dad rock the babies to sleep, and a table and chairs are ready and waiting for future teatimes and game playing. And let's not forget the chandelier and giant giraffe in the corner-subtle touches, no?

Suite Dreams

An understated palette of white, gray, and yellow lets the sleek lines of this nursery shine. Framed by a highlighted wall panel and canopy, the crib takes center stage; clearly, this is a place for the sweetest of dreams. We love the addition of a chaise longue in the corner, where watchful new parents can catch a few z's while staying close to their new baby.

The Scenic Route

Given space constraints, some parents choose to channel all their nursery's opulence right onto the walls. Murals can transform your baby's haven into a jungle safari, a fairytale castle, a picturesque countryside, or even a sophisticated Parisian park... if you'd like your little Dauphin's first words to be "Oh la la."

Royal Prince

Every element has been thoughtfully designed in this cheerful nursery. A paneled ceiling and wallpaper border draw attention upward and keep baby's eyes engaged as he drifts off to sleep. Layers of curtains and silky valances help to shade the spectacular space when it's time for the royal nap.

Suite Lullaby

Sweet Lullaby

A classic moon and stars theme is elegant and unfussy when implemented in a monochromatic palette. Soft touches such as a crib skirt and comfy chair make this nursery a peaceful retreat where a precious little bundle can rest his head.

The Beltline Buzz items are selected by our editors.  No one can pay to be featured on The Beltline Buzz..  That's what advertising is for, and it's always labeled as such.  Selling ourselves (literally) would destroy the legitimacy, integrity, and fun of  The Beltline Buzz.  Plus, we'd never earn your trust that way.  So we'll never make a dime off your meal at a restaurant nor a penny from the sale of the latest accessory we told you about.

That said, on occasion, we will send out "Dedicated" e-mails on behalf of sponsors.  You'll recognize them from the subject line: "The Beltline Buzz Dedicated E-mail."  Yes, these are paid for.  And, no, we would never sell our subscriber list to anyone.  Not for any amount of money.

We hope that you continue to enjoy your Beltline Buzz.  We look forward to delivering it.
