 Beyond the Diagnosis
Autism Across the Life Span Johnson County Community College (JCCC) and KU's Kansas Center for Autism Research and Training (K-CART) are proud to present "Beyond the Diagnosis: Autism Across the Life Span."
This two-day conference - October 23-24, 2015, at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, KS. is designed for professionals and families touched by autism. Several dozen sessions and workshops will be presented during the conference to address the needs of families, rehabilitation professionals, service providers and educators.
Friday, October 23 Check-in 8-9 a.m. Conference 9 a.m.-4:15 p.m. Saturday, October 24 Check-in 8-9 a.m. Conference 9 a.m.-12:45 p.m.

 NAMI Kansas is looking for Family- to-Family teachers! The Family-to-Family Education Program is a free, 12-week course for family caregivers of individuals with severe mental illnesses. The course is taught by trained family members. All instruction and course materials are free to class participants. Over 300,000 family members have graduated from this national program.. Link
