ACT TODAY TO STOP THE EPA WATER RULE
It's crunch time for an Environmental Protection Agency rule that dramatically expands the definition of "wetlands" under the Clean Water Act. And that means it's time for you to make the call. The Senate will vote on Nov. 3 on a bill that requires EPA to withdraw its rule that radically expands federal jurisdiction for areas required to obtain Section 404 building permits. We need to pass this legislation and overturn this rule, which drives up home prices because of the costly, time-consuming permitting process that's already in a huge backlog.

NAHB INTERNATIONAL BUILDERS' SHOW IN LAS VEGAS
HBAG members may now register for the 2016 IBS (January 19-21) and reserve a hotel room in the selected HBAG hotel block. Georgia delegation will be staying at Caesars Palace with a rate of $179 per night Sunday - Thursday, and $199 per night Friday & Saturday. The deadline to reserve rooms is Monday, November 16.

Since the Member Rebate Program (MRP) has been offered as a free member benefit of the Home Builders Association of Georgia, it has given participating members a total of $106,915.00. HBAG's Member Rebate Program lets builders and remodelers receive cash rebates for using certain manufacturers' products in the building and remodeling of homes. There are currently 54 participating manufacturers covering 35+ different product categories.
