DISASTER RESILIENT BUILDING CODE TASK FORCE PUBLIC FORUM

NEW PLUMBING CODE REQUIREMENTS

  

New Plumbing Code Requirements - High Efficiency Fixtures  Effective on July 1, 2012.       

High efficiency plumbing fixtures are required in all new construction. This includes both residential and commercial installations. Note: The requirements for high efficiency plumbing fixtures resulted from Senate Bill 370 which was enacted into State law in 2010 with a delayed effective date of July 1, 2012. BLOWER DOOR AND DUCT ENVELOPE TIGHTNESS (DET) EQUIPMENT  

 

HBAG and DCA have partnered to bring DET equipment rental units to your local association or a local association close to you.

Equipment is available to rent from your local

DUCT association.  The rental fee is $100.00 per day. Please visit www.hbag.org and click on the DET Equipment Rental box for more information. If you would like to become a DET verifier or would like more information on the rental program you can contact HBAG at 404-763-2453.
