Tis
the Season to Give Thanks

Mesa Verde Foundation wishes you and
your family a wonderful and fun-filled
holiday season. MVF, with your support
and help has had a busy year, and
we are pleased with the progress we
have made with several projects on
behalf of Mesa Verde. The Cliff Palace
stabilization project, one of eleven
National Park Foundation Legacy Projects
nationwide, will proceed in 2013,
helping the park take an important
step in the preservation of this iconic
ancient treasure. The newly re-established
Horse Patrol program in the park has
received significant support from
the Roundup Riders of the Rockies
Heritage Trails Foundation, the Chuckwagon
Trail Riders Foundation, and several
individuals. Rehabilitation of the
horse facilities should begin in the
spring, and new horses will be purchased.
Most important, the long awaited new
Visitor and Research Center at the
park entrance is being opened later
this month. The foundation is so proud
of this magnificent new facility and
the role it played in helping the
facility become a reality. None of
these achievements would be possible
without you, our supporters, so THANK
YOU for helping provide such holiday
cheer for Mesa Verde!
