Calling all artists: Help us design HPISD's birthday card
Last year's winning artwork, created by sixth-grader Sophia Anderson.
Each year, HPISD faculty and staff look forward to receiving a birthday card personally signed by the superintendent. One of the special features of the card is the student artwork on the front.

The district's Communication Department is holding a design contest for artwork for next year's card, and it is open to all HPISD students. The artwork can be in any medium, such as photography, painting or crayon. The winning artwork will be featured on the front of the card, and a photo of the student will be on the back of the card. This would be a fun spring break project to work on with friends and family!

To submit your child's artwork for the contest, please email a digital image of the artwork to HPISD Assistant Director of Communications David Hicks at [email protected] by 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 8. Submissions can also be dropped off at the HPISD Administration Building at 7015 Westchester Drive. Please include the student's name, grade, campus and contact information with all submissions.

Our last three birthday cards won top statewide awards from the Texas School Public Relations Association.
