The big announcement? The Ebby Halliday Family of Companies, which includes Ebby Halliday Realtors and Dave Perry-Miller & Associates, will be the presenting sponsor of the centennial anniversary of the Highland Park Independent School District.
"The schools have long been the heart of this exceptional community, and our company is pleased to help mark this significant milestone in a meaningful way," said Mary Frances Burleson, President and CEO of the Ebby Halliday Companies. Burleson is a 1953 Highland Park High School graduate and a member of the Board of Directors of the Highland Park Education Foundation.
HPISD Centennial Co-Chairs Leeanne and Bruce Hunt accepted the corporate sponsorship on behalf of the Education Foundation.
"What an honor it was to have Ebby Halliday and her associates join us in celebrating what will be a grand occasion in 2014," Leeanne Hunt said.
"This is a district with an amazing commitment to excellence in education and service, just as the Ebby Halliday companies have a history of commitment to excellence in business and attracting families to this exceptional community. This is a perfect match," Bruce Hunt said.
With five of its 30 offices in and around the Park Cities, the Ebby Halliday companies are deeply rooted in the community, having served Park Cities home buyers and sellers for nearly 70 years.
