International Fall Festival Brings Thousands Downtown
The beautiful weather Saturday along with entertainment and over 100 food and craft vendors helped bring thousands out to the International Fall Festival in Downtown Eau Claire! It was a full day of fun that also included the Parade of Nations to help cap off the day. Charly's Market
Named after a pet, Charly's Market, opened in the spring of this year. Owner Carolyn Miller of Eau Claire, says the Downtown grocer offers Boar's Head deli meats and cheeses along with Half Moon premium ice cream. They have everything you need to make a meal. You can a pick up at their deli and purchase an accompaniment like a great wine or beer. Charly's Market offers quality grocery options to the residents of the downtown community and they proudly support downtown! The market is located at 225 E. Madison Street. Pedals Music
Located at 313 E. Madison Street the music store caters to the needs of professional musicians while still offering the products, guidance and lessons for the budding musician. While stocking a wide variety of all the basic necessities, Pedals' Music strives to support small independent companies and offer a selection of unique new and vintage gear. Visit their site here.
Eric "Pedals" Thompson, owner of Pedals Music, says the store will be hosting an event on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012. It will be a "Guitar Toss Benefit for the Eau Claire Humane Association." He says you can play a rockstar for the day. One dollar gives you the chance to toss a guitar and possibly win a prizes from local businesses. All proceeds go to the Eau Claire Humane Association.
