A true learning event on 4th June, not to be missed,
for the benefit of the
Springboard Charitable Trust.

The UK is second only to the US in consumption of out-of-home meals, with customers more conscious than ever of the importance of sustainable food. But how should both professional and amateur cooks respond to this growing clamour for food that's good for both our health and our environment?

In this exciting interactive Sustainable Food Master Class, Cyrus Todiwala OBE puts your minds to rest by showing you how to prepare imaginative and delicious menus using seasonal, locally produced and organic vegetables, pulses, meat and seafood. He will also share why Cafe Spice Namaste recently received a prestigious award for Sustainable Food.

With special guests:

Kirsty Balmer from Sustain: The alliance for better food and farming will bring to the table her knowledge and expertise of the key elements of sustainable food.

Zeenat Anjri of New Covent Garden Market will discuss how growers and wholesalers are promoting more local and sustainable produce through the capital's food markets

Julian Heathcote at the Sustainable Restaurant Association will share pointers on how restaurateurs can be recognised for their commitment to sustainability

This master class will be followed by a three course gourmet lunch with wine.

Tickets are available for £125 + VAT.
