 Okay okay, we get it already!! Social media has fundamentally shifted the way many of us are doing business... blah blah blah.
That said, despite recent advances, no matter what tools or technology we've introduced, from smoke signals to Facebook and everything in between, evolutionarily speaking, as human beings we like to see, hear, touch and connect with other human beings.
Whether online or face-to-face, the nature of interacting effectively is the same as it's always been.
I have always been fascinated with why and how human beings think, feel, act and interact the way we do. In college, one of my majors was psychology and last year I decided to rekindle this passion by taking a course in personality type and testing.
I didn't really know how (or even if) I would use it, but just wanted to do it. Now it's all coming together. Knowing some basics about personality type (and how to understand other types) is really helpful in selling, marketing and networking effectively.
So I created this video, below, to cover some of the basics. It's a little low-budget on the
production side (okay, it's no-budget), but I know you'll forgive me because the content is good.
Be forewarned, I get really excited and start talking much too fast towards the end... But I'm not crazy, it's just my personality type ;)
