My Sister My Friend Breast Cancer Support
SHAPING THE FUTURE TOGETHER - A Word from the Director
Around for nearly a decade we pride ourselves in serving our community and in helping those diagnosed with breast cancer get on the road to recovery one day at a time. Our services are designed specifically to meet the needs of families who struggle to get through the day to day challenges of a cancer diagnosis. Over the years we have connected both women and men to the vital resources they so desperately needed. Whether it was cancer screening or supportive services we were there. Utilizing industry experience and functional expertise we have brought together survivors and supporters, physicians and treatment patients; fostered new relationships in direct patient care and innovative support programs. Together we (you and My Sister My Friend BCS) have developed new insights to drive results for better outcomes. This year will be more momentous than ever and from all of us to you Happy New Year!

Warm Regards,
Antoinette Greer
Executive Director

Survey data indicated these women wanted a day-long educational program targeted to address their needs while providing a forum to network with others who shared similar situations." Learn More
Patsy Bates returns to thank Antoinette
For True Navigation
Notably famous for her Health Net lawsuit and self advocacy Patsy presented  to the group on self advocacy and Antoinette's help back when she was going through treatment. Patsy on January 19, 2013 returned to thank Antoinette personally. She shared on how Antoinette helped her navigate to get the medicine she needed for chemotherapy without seeing her face to face. The newly formed organization was known as Sisters Network Long Beach back then and was who Bates initially contacted reaching Antoinette. While her book does not name the organization or Antoinette she states "you are in my book", and this was "true navigation". Ms. Bates gave survivors signed copies of her book and encouraged survivors to write and tell their stories.
