Days 2 & 3 from Boston and Two New Special Order Offers

Hi Everyone,

I must have been really tired last night. I forgot to hit the send button on my email. Here are 2 days of updates from Boston. Monday, I will be taking an all day class with Tim Holtz and Dyan Reaveley. I can't wait to get messy.

Day 2 from Boston

We had another busy day in Boston filled with some great classes.

Remember the wonderful Copic Anniversary set of markers withe the brush tip and the fine tip? If you would like a set of these markers, you can order them now thru Thursday for 20% off. Just call the store to order and your makers will be here in about three weeks.

Flat Lisa made a new friend at lunch.

I will be teaching this adorable recipe book album from Farmhouse in June.

I loved the new Sand paste from Viva Decor. All ready to add to your beach pages, summer cards or shadow box.

I have been playing a lot with all great dimensional pastes from Viva Decor.

Who knew you could use the pearl pens on pants.

Flat Lisa made a new friend. Jamie from Crafters Workshop.

You may recognize this girl. First, I used the pearl modeling cream on the photos. Once dry, I used some sprays as paint over my black and white photos. (This did not work on glossy photos).

Flat Lisa was all ready for notes at the retailer meeting.

My favorite Make and Take tonight was a ring made from WOW embossing powder. Marion and her husband are from England and are so funny. I can't wait for you to play with these fun powders.

Day 3 from Boston

Today was order placing day and of course I could not resist ordering a few things...
Here is Flat Lisa with one of the owners of WOW! embossing powders. I told him how Flat Lisa loves her photo taken with men. I may have placed a rather large order with them. There will be fun demos and classes to come.

Flat Lisa may have twisted my arm a little I may have added some more goodies to my already pending Bo Bunny order.

Flat Lisa will be so excited that I ordered all these Maryland items for the store.

Dyan Reaveley was enjoying her time with Flat Lisa.

In fact, she thought Flat Lisa would be a nice addition to the Ranger displays.

Flat Lisa talked me into walking across a very dangerous road to get Mexican food for dinner. It was worth the walk.

Tonight's project was very cool and messy. The cover started off with a heavy layer of crackle paint.

Flat Lisa was very excited to play in class tonight.

I got a little messy in tonights class. Played with Tattered Angels sprayed on Canvas and flowers.

Just to clarify. You must purchase the $100 of merchandise on the same day to qualify as a Bag Lady.

April Calendar is ready!

Here are those Class FYI's that everyone needs to know

Please bring all your basic tools to class with you and the extra supplies listed in the class description. We will have most of the products available for purchase.
Payment is required to reserve your seat in class(es). Class spaces are based on a first come, first serve basis.
Most of our classes are available in kit form. There will a $2 kit fee for all classes due to the extra work involved with making the kits.
We require that any cancellations on classes be made 48 hours prior to beginning of class time. With proper notification of cancellation, the cost of the class will then be credited towards store credit. Failure to provide 48 hour notice will be considered a loss on the customers' end due to the short notice.
Classes cancelled on behalf of the shop will be refunded to customers.

Please make sure to call ahead to reserve your spot for any Friday Night Crops or Saturday Night Crops. You don't want to miss out because we didn't know you were coming!
If you have a group coming to our crops (2+ croppers), please let us know when signing up so we can reserve space for your group.

Join Tracy for 4 great cards filled with flowers, glitter and more. We will be coloring with Copics and new Inktense Watercolor Pencils that Jennifer MacGuire has been raving about. Of course, I had to play and they are FUN! Please bring your Copic Markers. I will have a list but it is easier if you just bring all your markers. Please bring your basic tool kit including pop dots. $25

Photo Art Journaling with Becky New

If you have been wanting to learn more about how to create a photo journal, this class will help you get started. You will start from the very beginning by learning how to create a journal that can be used for all types of photos. You will be exposed to a multitude of tips and techniques to create many of your own amazing photo journals.

The journal you create in this first class will become your canvas to create works of art throughout the first few classes. Each new class will build upon this first class. You will be given lots of tips about different ways to journal your special photos. $25

Zentangle-ish Basics $25

Join Becky for a beginners class in Zentangle inspired art. Becky is not Zentangle Certified but as you can see in her samples, she really is good at it. You will learn some of the basic techniques so you can create your own Zentangle-ish inspired art. At first glance, a Zentangle-ish inspired creation can seem intricate and complicated. But, when you learn how it is done, you realize how simple it is . . . sort of like learning the secret behind a magic trick. Then, when you create a piece of Zentangle-ish inspired art, you realize how fun and engrossing the process itself is.
