Hi Everyone,
Thank you to everyone that came out to Demo Day today. I could tell that you are all ready to get creative now that the holidays are over. What we did not anticipate was how many of you would come play today. While we can usually tell which cards will be the biggest hits, we had no idea that Alice's two cards would be so popular. We are very sorry if you did not get to make your favorite cards so we decided that we will be remaking both of Alice's cards for next month's demo day. If you would like to reserve either of her cards, please let us know and we will put them aside for you. By reserving a card kit or two, it will help us decide how many of these cards we will need to make for next month.
Demo Day Rewind Sunday 12-5 PM
For Demo Day rewind tomorrow, we only have a few of two cards left and all of Gina's layouts. We will have all our available Wacky Wednesday cards out and two new cards. Here are all the cards for Sunday. All just $2, while supplies last.

Some of you may know that my husband Shon is a huge Ravens fan and so are most of the staff (except for two Pittsburg lovers) I really am an equal opportunity employer. Gina Adolph has a fun Ravens Layout to inspire you for all those great party pictures you will have from this weeks game. We have a special Ravens Fan offer for Sunday and a Ravens Craft night planned. Keep reading for details.

This year we are going to have a Special Coupon Savings Card for our wonderful customers. The cards will only be available thru February 8th. It costs $10, but you can buy it for $5 with a $30 merchandise purchase or Get it for Free with a $50 purchase!
(The cost of the card does not qualify towards the Free Stickles in January.)
For those of you who have been keeping an eye on what's been happening at the Craft & Hobby Association trade show, you know some very cool things are on their way. I am fairly confident that many of you have projects you know you need to finish before you start something new. Might I suggest registering for our weekend crop, and getting a bunch of those things out of the way so you are ready for the classes and ideas to come? Or, visit us any time we don't have classes and crops going on. Seriously. We're fine with you just coming to work. Don't feel guilty! You're helping us with a key part of our mission by doing that! We want to inspire memories through scrapbooking, and frankly, that doesn't happen if those memories are sitting in boxes. The bottom line is we are here to cheer you on, to remove creative blocks, to help you feel inspired.
Each day you will receive a goodie bag of papers and embellishments. - Friday includes snacks, pizza for dinner, sodas and cookies.
- Saturday we will have a light breakfast, sandwiches and salads for lunch and and Italian buffet for dinner.
- Sunday we will serve a light breakfast, snacks and hot sandwiches for lunch.

New Layout Club for 2013
It is free to join and if you buy 24 of the 26 layouts available in 2013, you will receive a $15 store Gift Certificate. Thanks to all the ladies that were a part of the club last year. It's not too late to get the last couple of layouts to finish off last years club and get your $15 Gift Certificate.

January Calendar is ready!
Here are those Class FYI's that everyone needs to know
- Please bring all your basic tools to class with you and the extra supplies listed in the class description. We will have most of the products available for purchase.
- Payment is required to reserve your seat in class(es). Class spaces are based on a first come, first serve basis.
- We require that any cancellations on classes be made 48 hours prior to beginning of class time. With proper notification of cancellation, the cost of the class will then be credited towards store credit. Failure to provide 48 hour notice will be considered a loss on the customers' end due to the short notice.
- Classes cancelled on behalf of the shop will be refunded to customers.
Here are those Crop FYI's that everyone needs to know:
- Please make sure to call ahead to reserve your spot for any Friday Night Crops or Saturday Night Crops. You don't want to miss out because we didn't know you were coming!
- If you have a group coming to our crops (2+ croppers), please let us know when signing up so we can reserve space for your group.
- To sign up for any classes or crops, please stop by the store or call (410-549-5187) during store hours to sign up.

Monday January 21st 6-8 PM Scrapping 102
It's all about the embellishments. After Gina helps you pick out the papers and some embellishments to use, you will make 2 pages using photos you bring,Gina will teach you how to use ribbon, fibers, tearing, brads, tags, inking stamping, buttons, chipboard, distressing techniques and flowers. (You will not be making this layout. You will be creating a layout using papers you and Gina pick out. This layout just shows some of the techniques you will learn.) $15
Tuesday January 22nd 6-8 PM BasicGrey Clipboard and Cards Join Tracy for this fun Clipboard ready to display your photos and two great cards to mail. You will have lots of extra embellishments left over to use on other projects. $18

Northwoods Cards by Tina
Tina had lots of glittery fun making these shimmery cards for you. She will teach you a variety of glittering techniques and a cool embossing technique while you make 2 of each card. $28

Amour Mini Album
Join Gina for the perfect Valentines gift for your loved one. Mini Albums are perfect for showing your loved ones just how much they mean to you! In this class you will combine Pink Paislee's blank "Artisan Album" &
resist chipboard pieces with Heidi Swapp's new Color Shine spray (that you get to keep) to create a unique "artsy" album that will become a treasure for years to come. Fall in love with crafting all over again! $32

Staff Spotlight on Lisa Hetrick
We have had a lot of new customers lately and I wanted to let you know about our wonderful Copic instructor, Lisa Hetrick. Lisa is a true artist and designs all the stamps for one our favorite stamp companies, Avocado Arts. It had been a dream of Lisa's to launch a clear stamp company with a bit of a different vision: stamping is for everyone! She is an illustrator who stamps (and I think that's important), so she has a vision to create coordinating images that have endless possibilities.
Lisa Hetrick is a full-service graphic designer and illustrator who has actively worked within many industries for 20+ years. Her career has lead her down many design paths holding designer, art director, design director, and creative director roles within the advertising, education, health care and papercrafting/art industries.
