Hi Everyone,
There are so many new things going on at the store right now so be sure to scroll down to read about everything that is happening. Lisa is coming in early Friday morning to check in a giant box of Stampendous new goodies!

It may seem like I haven't been around much, but that is because I have been up to my eyeballs buried in CHA previews. We love this time of year but it can be so hard to predict what the new hot products are going to be. The new paper samples from Bo Bunny and Reminisce are here and we will have them out for you to look at this weekend. Please let us know your favorites so we know what to order.
I was so excited with the new Impression Obsession new Spring stamps and dies, I just had to get these online catalogs out for you to see. The Bunnies are amazing. There are great scenes to color and I can't wait to play with the trellis die set. We will be placing this order on Monday, so please call or email us your special orders so you can be sure to get the things you love.
Spring Holiday Roundup From Impression Obsession
This Spring Holiday Roundup supplement includes some of our best selling stamps from previous years. We've included stamp numbers under each card sample. All individual stamps are available as either traditional wood mounted or as cling mounted stamps.
2013 Winter CHA Die Supplement
 We are excited to share with you our 2013 Winter CHA Die Supplement, a preview of our new spring die collection. This makeshift supplement shows all our dies including the new release for CHA. We are in the process of having a full color catalog printed with even more releases that will be released in 4-6 weeks.
Some of our dies have matching stamps. We have pictured those stamps with the dies.
Our dies are made to be used with tabletop die cut machines that will handle wafer thin dies. Some of the dies are extremely detailed and may work best with additional shims.

Wacky Wednesday Cards
The girls have been busy creating new cards for you. Available All Day Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Just $2 each.
 It's time for a new Dare to Share. We have these 4 puzzle pieces from Bo Bunny that you can use in a card, layout or mixed media project. Once you make something, bring it in so we can show it off and you can get 20% off of 1 item of your choice.
Each day you will receive a goodie bag of papers and embellishments. - Friday includes snacks, pizza for dinner, sodas and cookies.
- Saturday we will have a light breakfast, sandwiches and salads for lunch and and Italian buffet for dinner.
- Sunday we will serve a light breakfast, snacks and hot sandwiches for lunch.

New Layout Club for 2013

January Calendar is ready!
Here are those Class FYI's that everyone needs to know
- Please bring all your basic tools to class with you and the extra supplies listed in the class description. We will have most of the products available for purchase.
- Payment is required to reserve your seat in class(es). Class spaces are based on a first come, first serve basis.
- We require that any cancellations on classes be made 48 hours prior to beginning of class time. With proper notification of cancellation, the cost of the class will then be credited towards store credit. Failure to provide 48 hour notice will be considered a loss on the customers' end due to the short notice.
- Classes cancelled on behalf of the shop will be refunded to customers.
Here are those Crop FYI's that everyone needs to know:
- Please make sure to call ahead to reserve your spot for any Friday Night Crops or Saturday Night Crops. You don't want to miss out because we didn't know you were coming!
- If you have a group coming to our crops (2+ croppers), please let us know when signing up so we can reserve space for your group.
- To sign up for any classes or crops, please stop by the store or call (410-549-5187) during store hours to sign up.

We are excited to announce that Simone will now be teaching classes at Photo Scraps starting in January. She has been a customer of ours for years and many of you many know her from her Copic classes that she taught at Great Scraps. She has a flair for coloring people and has some great things planned for you in the coming year.
Saturday January 12th 11-1 PM Simone's Winter Bliss
Join Simone for these Sweet and Sassy stamped cards. She will be teaching you her technique for Copic coloring hair and skin tones. Please bring your labeled Copic markers with you. She uses over 40 shades so just bring all of your markers and your basic tool kit. You will be provided with a detailed list of all the Copic colors used to take home with you at the time of the class. $23

Join Tracy for this lovely Basic Grey Sampler and three bonus cards. After making these projects you will still have leftover brads and banners. $29
Demo Day Saturday January 19th 11-4 PM
Join us for 12 great projects all just $2 each. We will have a variety of cards and layouts for you to create. We do the cutting and you do the gluing. Just drop in anytime after 11:00 and create as many Demos you want. We provide glue sticks so if you prefer tape, please bring a labeled tape runner. We will have kits available for all the demos so you can even make these at home. If you complete 6 demos, you will receive a coupon for 10% off your regular priced purchases for the day (not including special orders or other sale special offers).
Cindy's first Demo Day card of 2013 will feature her all-time-favorite, cutest-bunny-in-the-stamping-world, Flopsey from MFT. 
Alice has created two gorgeous cards for this Demo Day. She will only be making 50 of each card.
 
Vanessa has created a wonderful Copic colored card for you on Demo Day.
Gina has created a bunch of great layouts for you.   
 
Monday January 21st 6-8 PM Scrapping 102
It's all about the embellishments. After Gina helps you pick out the papers and some embellishments to use, you will make 2 pages using photos you bring,Gina will teach you how to use ribbon, fibers, tearing, brads, tags, inking stamping, buttons, chipboard, distressing techniques and flowers. (You will not be making this layout. You will be creating a layout using papers you and Gina pick out. This layout just shows some of the techniques you will learn.) $15
Tuesday January 22nd 6-8 PM BasicGrey Clipboard and Cards Join Tracy for this fun Clipboard ready to display your photos and two great cards to mail. You will have lots of extra embellishments left over to use on other projects. $18

Kaisercraft Pickled Pear Cigar Box By Lisa C.
This Christmas I transferred my childhood Super 8mm home movies to dvd for my two sisters. It was an emotional project as my parents have been gone for a very long time. To say I was excited is an understatment! As the holiday drew nearer I decided I wanted a special presentation for the gift so I stepped out of my "box" to alter cigar boxes.
I chose Kaisercraft's Pickled Pear collection because its soft shade of blue was my mother's favorite color and the vintage icons were images that suited the nature of my project. To diffuse the yellow-ish green in the paper (just didn't love that color in this particular project) I used Stampendous Embossing Enamel in Shabby White and Frantage Mica that I melted onto the paper with a heat gun. Using Mod Podge I decoupaged the paper to the box - even covering the insides. Next I added a lace trim to the lid's edge. Then the fun really began! I cut out a vintage camera and clock face from the paper to decorate the lid; applying Glossy Accents to the clock face to create a slick-looking finish. Flowers from Petaloo and a paper doily also served as accents. For the title I printed "Gundersdorff Family Movies" on printer paper so I could mark where it printed. Then taking the actual Pickled Pear decorative paper I used a removable adhesive to line it up over the printer paper then re-ran it through the printer. Next I adhered it to a chipboard bracket shape from my stash and filed the edges to a smooth finish.
For the inside of the lid I layered several old family photos with more Pickled Pear journal cards cut from one of the papers, more flowers, leftover lace trim, and pearls. The inside bottom of the box was only layered with a few journal cards to keep the base flat for housing the dvds.
Christmas night is an evening I think we will all remember. My sisters and I all cried and hugged while our children and husbands looked on. Then we enjoyed viewing some of the movies together reliving the love and happiness of our childhood.
