New Utility Billing Information
Residents received their newly formatted utility bill this week!  Each bill also came with a magnetic gift from the Police Department. We hope you find the new format easier to read and useful when charting water usage.

The new  utility bill will also coincide with a new online payment format, which went live on Monday, May 2, 2016.  This online format provides more user features including auto pay, paperless billing, previous consumption data, and more.  It is important to note that if you were already enrolled in online billing, you will have to re-register utilizing your new account number.  May utility bill payments will not be deducted from the old Click2Gov accounts.  Those wishing to pay by credit card online or in person will be able to pay using Visa, Mastercard or Discover (a new option).

We appreciate your patience during this process, and will continually be working to improve your user experience. If there are questions about the new billing statement or online payments, please contact Finance Director Maggie Moreno at 897-5821.

This Week in History

On May 3, 1469, Italian philosopher and political thinker, Niccolo Machiavelli was born. He was established as one of the father's of modern political thought through several of his works like The Prince and Discourses on the First Ten Books of Livy. His work The Prince is his most known work, which describes a political leader who has an unquenchable thirst for power that the wish to gain more status through any and all means necessary, casting aside all morals and senses of right and wrong. Even today people tend to use the phrase "Machiavellian" to describes actions such as this.
