Easy as Pie

This Week in History
On November 9, 1938, people are asleep in their homes in Germany and Austria when suddenly they hear the sound of breaking glass, Kristallnacht had begun. Throughout this night and even through to the next day, approximately 7,500 homes and businesses were raided and destroyed by members of the Nazi Party. In addition to the raids, around 30,000 Jewish men were arrested and sent to concentration camps for months. However, these men were released only if they swore to leave Germany forever. This act was only a small foreshadowing of the horrors that would become the Holocaust.
A Grand Opening
Marion Villas celebrated their grand opening today! This brand new senior living complex comes equipped with 46 one and two bedroom apartments, beautiful courtyards, and a common area for recreational activities. In addition, the bottom level includes commercial real estate space.

With the building 100% leased by the opening, the project has been welcomed warmly by the Kingsburg community, as evidenced by a large gathering at the Grand Opening.
Stop the Sprinklers
With colder weather and rain, residents are encouraged to completely shut off all sprinklers and irrigation devices throughout the winter months.

For those who have planted rye grass, the regular two (2) day per week watering schedule remains in effect.

For October, Kingsburg reduced water usage 34.5%, the first month we've missed our 36% mandate.  November brings new outdoor watering regulations for all residents.  For questions, please contact Alex Henderson or view FAQs.
Who Let the Dogs Out?!
The new Dog Park continues to add amenities (including the addition of a water source)! We have finished the first phase of construction. However, there is still work to be done. The next phase includes a

fenced off area for smaller dogs, new benches, and providing some shade for everyone. This cannot be done without YOUR help!

If you are interested
in donating just go to  GoFundMe and make a donation. We have a long way to go, but with your help we can make this furry friend park great!
