It has finally arrived! The City is now home to a safe place to drop off Rx medication. The new kiosk is located just outside the Police Department main entrance, and can be accessed 24 hours per day.
The kiosk was provided by Healthwise Services, who services the container on a monthly basis, making sure all items are properly removed and destroyed. The kiosk has been provided free of charge through a partnership between the City and the SKF Sanitation District. Disposing of Rx drugs properly prevents: - Contamination of the water supply and local waterways
- Misuse by those who the medicine is not prescribed to
You should never flush medicine down the toilet - just bring it over the the Kingsburg PD for free, anonymous disposal. |
