In fact, researchers found that application of vibrational frequencies in this range helped to relieve pain in over 80% of the participants with both acute and chronic pain.

The Observer: September 21, 1970
An excerpt from the Traverse City State Hospital publication
Old Engine and Thresher Show
" The old engine and thresher show near Buckley was enjoyed by several bus loads of our patients during Aug. 21, 22 and 23.
This show is put on by a group of area men who restore all kinds of old engines dating clear back to 1900 that were used mainly in farming around the Michigan area and also during the big lumber era that swept the state long before a lot of us were born.
These old steam, oil, kerosene, and gasoline motors were all in running order and programs were set up to demonstrate their many uses. They cut lumber, made shingles, veneering, pumped water, cut and threshed straw and many other interesting methods that are now obsolete, or replaced by gasoline tractors or electricity.
The patients showed great interest and fascination in watching these machines of the past, that one of our attendants Mr. Hulett so graciously arranged for free admission, and invited us to come. Many hanks to him and his unique club. This was best summarized by a patient from Cottage 30 who said as he left the bus after the trip, "That was more fun than going to the fair!"
