Last year's event was one of the largest ever with over 5,000 people attending the parade and courthouse lawn festivities. Mark your calendar for the 2014 Cherokee Strip Celebration, September 12-14! Enjoy a little bit of Americana at the parade from the Shriners to marching bands to the longhorn steers and then enjoy the family fun activities. New free events are being added this year to rediscover life in the Old West. A complete schedule of events will be available on the Enid Chamber website and Facebook page.
