New Downtown Kenosha Restaurant Week Set for 2015

The Kenosha Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (KACVB) has been awarded a $19,000 Wisconsin Dept. of Tourism JEM (Joint Effort Marketing) Grant to implement the first Downtown Kenosha Restaurant Week, which will run February 14 - 22, 2015. The KACVB will partner with Downtown Kenosha, Inc. to produce the event, which is aimed at increasing tourism, growing restaurant sales, and raising awareness among local residents of Downtown's unique dining options.  Many of our restaurant and specialty food businesses have already committed to participating in this event and a separate email will go out soon to all restaurants with further details. The kick off date of Restaurant Week coincides with February's Second Saturday, Valentine's Day, and the annual winter festival which will again feature ice sculptures throughout Downtown (more details on ice sculptures to come).
