The Messages:

The Time for the Children was led by Julie Hutchins who shared with them the history of Mother's Day.

This Mother's Day message was provided by Jessie Howard. From her heart she shared "A Mother's Ministry."

Sunday's Music:

The Trinity Trio returned with two selections on Sunday, the prelude and the postlude, while the Senior Choir presented a 23-voice anthem. Could that be a record?
  • Prelude: "Sheep May Safely Graze"
  • Senior Choir Anthem: "My Shepherd Will Supply My Need"
  • Postlude: "Great is the Lord"
These selections are available on our Sunday Music page.

Appreciation Concert by and for
Retiring Organist Beryl Samia
Next Sunday, May 19th - 4 p.m.

The concert, entitled "Glory, Gratitude and Grateful Goodbye," will feature our own Trinity Trio - Nancy Chamberlin, Susan LaVerriere and Beryl Samia. In addition, there will be a tribute to Beryl from Mark Thallander.

Following the concert, a reception and reserved dinner (provided by the church) will be held in Beryl's honor. Because of the overwhelming response, the reception and dinner has been moved to the American Legion Hall across from the Kennebunkport Police Department.

From the Office

If your new Pictorial Directory is already coming apart, bring it into the office for re-stapling. Sue Stedman has a new, heavy duty stapler that should handle the job.

We've discovered that there was one thing that Staples didn't do well for us...and that was stapling.
