51st ANNUAL SPRING FESTIVAL
Spring Festival is coming!!!  May 6th is the date for this year's big day. 
Please check out the information below for everything you need to know!

FROM THE BUSINESS OFFICE

UNPAID BALANCES: As we come to the end of the 2015-2016 school year, please check with the Business Office in regards to any unpaid balances you may have, such as student accounts, athletic fees (Spirit Pack), trip fees, MMI dining account, etc.  Final grades will be released after all balances have been cleared.  Registration for the 2016-2017 school year will be complete once all remaining balances are paid.

SMART TUITION:Within the next few weeks, each family should be receiving an email from Smart Tuition  (customerservice@smarttuitionmessages.com) regarding enrollment with their program for student accounts/billing next year.  Once you receive this email, we suggest that you add Smart Tuition to your safe contacts in order to prevent future emails from going directly to your spam file.


 

 

ZOGHBY'S UNIFORMS ON CAMPUS DISCOUNT
Zoghby's Uniforms will have a representative and samples on each of our campuses for fittings and pre-orders.  They will be set up in St. Luke's Hall on May 2nd from 2:00 pm until  6:00 pm and in the UC Library on May 5th from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm.   Any orders placed on this day through May 7th will receive a 10% discount!

May 5th is the last day for K2-5th grade students to order a 2015-2016 yearbook.  The yearbook is always full of great photos and is a great recap of the year for EVERY grade level!  Download an order form here.

ON CAMPUS USED TEXTBOOK BUY BACK
Campus Bookstore will have a representative buying your used books on our University Campus on the following 3 dates:

May 17th 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm   Senior Used Book Buy Back (Library)
May 23rd 7:30 am - 9:30 am Middle School Used Book Buy Back (Band Room)
May 26th 9:30 am - 11:30 am Upper School Used Book Buy Back (Band Room)

Dates have been scheduled based upon final exams for each grade level. You may also bring books on any scheduled date following your grade level buy back or stop by their store (located just across from the USA Campus)  at your convenience to sell or buy your books.


 

 

CAMP WILDCAT
Our new and improved summer camp program, "CAMP WILDCAT",  is accepting summer campers!  Camp Wildcat is for children grades Pre-Kindergarten through rising sixth grade. 
The camp is open to any child (SLES student or not) so spread the word about this awesome summer option with friends and family.  Enroll for the whole summer or by the week. Our Junior Camp 
serves children ages 3 through 5 (rising K-3, K-4 and K-5) and 
our Senior Camp serves rising first through sixth graders.
Weekly themes and enrichment classes (library, computer, science, Spanish, and art) provide plenty of activities and fun! Junior Campers will enjoy on-site activities, Senior campers attend field trips and swim once a week. We will also offer "Water Slide Wednesday" to everyone each week to keep cool!
Counselors are trained to provide a great experience for your child while maintaining the highest level of safety. Camp Wildcat offers weekly themed day camps starting May 27, 2016 and ending August 3, 2016. Campers can be dropped off at 7:30 a.m., with camp ending each day at 5:30 p.m. We are closed Memorial Day and Fourth of July.

BIOMED CAPSTONE PROJECT PRESENTATIONS

These presentations are the culmination of three years of curriculum and clinical study. Students will present an in-depth look into a medical or medical related field of their choosing.   Please join us in celebration of these outstanding students as they share their passion and knowledge of their selected career path. JUNIOR SELECTED TO ATTEND ALABAMA GOVERNOR'S SCHOOL
Congratulations to junior Andy Sykes who has been chosen to attend Alabama Governor's School, a highly selective program for rising seniors that allows high-achieving students from around the state to attend challenging seminars and participate in team building activities. The program will take place at Samford University this summer from June 15-27.

 

 

MOTHER OAK ANNUAL FUND

 

We had a great turnout for our first Donor Day!  Thanks to all of the students and teachers who made signs, the volunteer committee members who helped us set up, cook, serve and clean up, and all of the donors who came out to enjoy the baseball game and free food! We are thankful to each of you for your awesome support of our school!

7th ANNUAL BOOSTER CLUB GOLF TOURNAMENT

ST. LUKE'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
St. Luke's Episcopal Church will be holding Vacation Bible School for children in grades K5-5th grade  on June 13th-17th from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon.  This year's theme is "Surf Shack: Catch the Wave of God's Amazing Love" .If you are interested in this wonderful ministry, please contact the church office at church@stlukesmobile.org or 666-2990. WILDCATS ADVANCE TO 2ND ROUND OF STATE PLAYOFFS
Congratulations to the varsity baseball team for their 2 wins over Washington County High School yesterday in the first round of the state playoffs. The Wildcats advance to the second round... Look for info coming soon!

Attention all rising 7th-12th grade students interested in participating in football, basketball or volleyball next year: 

FOOTBALL
All rising 7th-12th Graders: Spring Football Practices will be held Monday thru Thursday April 25th thru May 5th from 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm.

VOLLEYBALL
Middle School: April 25th from 5:00pm - 6:30 pm and April 26th 5:00pm - 6:00pm.  
Upper School (JV and Varsity):  April 25th and 26th from 3:30pm until 5:00pm.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Middle School:  May 2nd, 3rd and 4th from 5:30 pm- 7:00pm
Upper School (JV and Varsity): May 2nd - May 6th from 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm
 
BOYS BASKETBALL
Middle School:  May 16th and 17th from 3:30pm - 5:00pm.
Upper School (JV and Varsity): May 9th - May 13th  3:30 pm - 5:30 pm
 


MALE ATHLETES-PHYSICALS PROVIDED ON CAMPUS
Any student planning to participate in AHSAA athletics in 2016-2017 must complete and return all eligibility paperwork.The paperwork must be completed every year and includes the physical examination form, concussion from, Participant-agreement-consent-
and release, STAR sportsmanship instruction form, Individual Data form & Parent Permission for Athletic participation. These documents can be found on the school website (go there now).
As a service to our male athletes (rising grades 7-12), physical examinations will be provided, on campus, May 12th at 2:30 pm in the weight room.  All other eligibility paperwork should be filled out and turned in to Student Services prior to this date. Please complete that portion of the physical examination form required of parents. 

SUMMER ATHLETIC CAMPS...SPREAD THE WORD
Our awesome varsity coaches will be sponsoring several athletic camps over the summer.  These camps are open to the public and provide a great opportunity for the kids to develop their skills while having fun with their friends!  Spread the word!!
