The new RapidPass option allows you to start the paperwork before you arrive! RapidPass allows you to start the blood donation process from the comfort of your home or office and save time at the donation site. The process is simple, just read the following information and complete the questions online, then print your RapidPass and bring it with you or show it on your mobile device. This must be done on the same day as your scheduled donation appointment. Visit www.redcrossblood.org/RapidPass


A few things you should know:
  • The process will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Please use the name listed on your donor card or legal name when logging in.
  • Our staff will discuss the questions with you and you may be asked to answer a question again or clarify an answer when you come for your donation.
  • RapidPass is not the same as an appointment. For the fastest donation experience possible, please complete your RapidPass and schedule a donation appointment.
  • If you plan to print your RapidPass, you will need Adobe Reader.

 

 

SPRING BREAK SAFETY REQUIRED CEU
On Wednesday, March 16th St. Luke's will present, in conjunction with the Mobile County Sherriff's Office, a CEU for all Upper School students regarding Spring Break Safety.  The CEU will begin at 7:00 pm in the Moorer Center for Performing Arts and will last one hour.  
Experts from the Sherriff's office will cover a multitude of topics designed not to scare our students but to help them make smart decisions and stay safe!  We strongly encourage parents and anyone who may be acting as a chaperone to attend as well.


ALL STATE CHORUS FESTIVAL
Congratulations to the students who were selected to participate in the 2016 All State Choral Festival at Samford University in Birmingham this weekend! 
Blakely Moore, Trey Ladner, Cameron McConnell, Graham Driskell, Alli Kangal, Abigail Lowry, Elizabeth Roebuck, Carli Rouse, Olivia Watts, Win Campbell and Caroline Noland will all be performing.  The middle school performance will begin at 7:00 pm in the Wright Performing Arts Center.  The upper school performance will begin at 12:00 pm on Saturday in the Wright Performing Arts Center as well.

STATE GEOGRAPHY BEE
Congratulations to Connor Ferguson who won our SLES Geography Bee and has since qualified to participate in the State National Geography Bee contest on April 1 in Birmingham!


REGIONAL ARCHERY TOURNAMENT
What a great showing at Regionals. Congratulations to all three teams.
The Middle School Team placed 2nd with a total of 3133 points. Top Male Shooter for the Wildcats was Gavin Kelly (274) and Top Female Shooter was Taylor Smith (268). Our High School team finished in 3rd place overall with a total of 3182 points. Top Male Shooter for the Wildcats was Nick Stuart(280) and Top Female Shooter was Alli Kangal (279). The Elementary Team finished in 6th place with a total of 2638. Lydia Burnham finished 3rd OVERALL in the Elementary Female Division (254).

ATHLETICS
BASKETBALL
Our varsity boys basketball team has advanced to the Regionals of the State Tournament and will be competing tonight against G.W. Long at 7:30 pm. The game is being played at the Dothan Civic Center.  The Spirit Bus will depart at 3:00 pm today with our Wildcat cheerleaders, students, parents and faculty who are going o cheer them on!
Our Japonica students wanted to give the team a big send-off and made arrangements to have the team bus drive past the Japonica Campus this morning on their way to the interstate!

GIRLS GOLF

Congratulations to our Lady Wildcats Golf Team who competed in a tri-match against Davidson and Cottage Hill.  The Lady Wildcats finished with an overall score of 178 (Davidson 160/Cottage Hill 182) which brings their record to 1-1.  Emmy Musial finished 2nd overall with a score of 52.
