4th GRADE IS SETTING THE BAR!

TWO of our fourth grade classes have reached 100% parent participation in this year's Mother Oak Annual Fund!  The MOAF has received a pledge card or donation from EVERY parent in Mrs. Speir's class and Mrs. Cote's class. Thank you for your support!!!

BIOMED - OPPORTUNITIES YOU WON'T FIND ANYWHERE ELSE!
The college preparatory BioMed Program continues to provide exceptional and unique opportunities to students...and it keeps getting better and better!  This week alone there were TWO unique experiences for our students!
Dr. Alan Franklin brought his office equipment to the school and demonstrated to our students the technology now used to examine your eyes..REALLY examine your eyes.  The students were enthralled with the equipment and were able to use the equipment during the demonstration.  Good news..everyone had great retinas!
Senior Lindsey Templin wants to be an equine veterinarian.  Today, she gave her BioMed III presentation and was joined by her beautiful Arabian horse, ICE.  Students from 6th-12th grade attended her multiple presentations to learn about the anatomy of a horse, medical facts about horses, and the history of the Arabian horse.   Lindsey did a great job and Ice was pretty awesome too!

WILDCAT STRONG SPELLER!
Congratulations to Garrett Upshaw  who was our SLES Spelling Bee winner and represented us VERY WELL at the recent Mobile County Spelling Bee.  With over 60 competitors, Garrett finished in the TOP 10! Way to go Garrett!
