WHAT WE DID THIS SUMMER
 

Every August students return from their summer break full of excitement and eager to let you know how they spent their summer. Schools do a lot of exciting things over the summer too...even the teachers who are "off".  Check out this list of some of the things we accomplished this summer!  WOW!!

 

 



K2-5TH GRADE MORNING/AFTER SCHOOL CARE
We are very excited to announce that we have completely revamped our after school program!  Now called SL +  the new program offers additional staffing, additional safety measures and structured opportunities for play, study and creative fun.  We will send enrollment forms via schoolcast next week, but checkout all the details here!

In the upcoming days you will  be receiving additional information including K2-5th grade teachers/class info, MS and US student schedules, MMI Food Service Program info, and K2-K5 SL + (formerly Extended Care) registration info.

The St. Luke's Student Ambassadors present the 2015 SPIRIT SHIRT: a one time design, and a one time offer.  Join the Pride and show off your Wildcat spirit! Shirts are Comfort Colors (short and long sleeve available) and are perfect for students (out of uniform days) and parents and grandparents who want to support their Wildcats! Orders are being accepted through September 2.

Orders returned by August 5th should be back in time for our first home football game on Augus 21st! 
 
MEET THE 2015-2016 STUDENT AMBASSADORS
We are pleased to announce the students who have been selected to serve as Student Ambassadors. These Upper School students were selected based upon teacher recommendations, personal interviews and applications and they have committed to represent the school both externally and internally.  The SA's spent two full days on retreat this summer planning for a very exciting year and they are WILDCAT STRONG!!! 

The Student Ambassadors are  Lauren Bailey, Michaela Holt, William Brandyburg, Hardy Demeranville, Graham Driskell, Lincoln Hammons, Madeline Lary, Matthew Mowry, Isabelle Nguyen, Bailey Sheffield, Elizabeth Guice, Ella Johnson, Zack McCleery, Cameron Preston, Ellie Pierce, Nick Stuart, Emmi Musial, Olivia Fisher, Morgan Meeker, Christian Kennedy-Milligan, Olivia Pickett, Steven Small, Rachel Parden and Sara Taylor.  

ST. LUKE'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH INFORMATION

ATHLETICS

 

 

VARSITY FOOTBALL PARENT MEETING-MANDATORY
There will be an AHSAA REQUIRED parent meeting for the parents of all varsity football players on Tuesday, August 4th at 6:30 pm in the University campus Gym.

 

 

MIDDLE SCHOOL FOOTBALL - GRADES 7 and 8
 Practice for Middle School Football (grades 7 and 8) begins on August 3rd.

 

 

1st and 2nd GRADE FLAG FOOTBALL AND CHEERLEADING
Don't forget to register for 1st and 2nd grade flag football and cheerleading!  The deadline is August 7th.  Games will be played every Thursday at 5:30 pm beginning August 27th and ending October 1st.  Register online at www.YDLsports.net.
