Survey Results
The Chapter is pleased to announce that the recent HRPA member survey results reflect how we are becoming a leading Chapter of the HRPA in Ontario.
Highlights of the 2016 HRPA Survey results are provided below for your information. While opportunities exist for us to reach our goal "To be the leader in Chapter engagement within the HRPA providing opportunities for our members to connect, develop and contribute," the survey results indicate that we are on track. Highlights include:
1. Our Chapter achieved a 17% Survey Response Rate- the highest response rate in the Chapter's history and one of the highest rates of response of 28 Ontario Chapters.
2. In terms of Overall Impact - our Chapter is now the 5th (of 28 Chapters) in Ontario in terms of overall impact.
3. We are #2 (of 28 Chapters) in encouraging Board Participation. This is a particularly meaningful result to us because of our efforts to increase Board rotation within the Chapter for development and transition purposes.
4. We are now #3 in Community Influence - a key metric that we are striving to lead in with respect to our Strategy and Operating Plan. Our planned November 11th 2016 "CultureWorks" conference is a key strategy to continue to build this metric.
5. We are now the 5th Chapter in Ontario (again for 28 Chapters) leading in the area of Volunteerism and Engagement. This indicator demonstrates our launch of the "SyncHR Volunteer Campaign" and overall engagement strategy is working.
Thank you to all members for engaging in your Chapter this year and enabling us to achieve these results.
A summary of the key survey findings is provided below for your information.
The Board will be using these findings to re-focus our Operating Plan in 2016/17 to continue to strive to reach goal to be a leading Chapter in Ontario. Areas of concentration for 2016/17 include making our Professional Development webinars and events more applicable to all members. |
