2/4/16
Bingo and Pasta Dinner is Tomorrow!
We are looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow, February 5, at our Pasta Dinner and Bingo family night. Dinner will be served from 5-6:30pm in the cafeteria (pre-sale only). There will be a check-in table outside the cafeteria for dinner. We ask families with last names starting with A-M to attend dinner between 5-5:40pm, and for last names starting with N-Z to attend dinner between 5:45-6:25pm. Please do your best to accommodate.

If you are not coming for dinner, you can still come for Bingo. Bingo starts at 6:30pm in the gym. Bingo cards and raffle tickets will be available the night of the event (cash or check only). The cost for 10 bingo cards is $5.00. You can also purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win awesome prizes between games. Save room for dessert as we will have some great concessions for sale.
Please Visit our Lost and Found
Our lost and found is expanding! Please take an inventory at home for any missing clothing. Coming to our Pasta Dinner and Bingo? Please check for items then. Items that are clearly labeled will be returned to students. Anything left in Lost and Found on March 30 will be donated.
Girls on the Run
We are SO thrilled to be able to offer Girls on the Run at Greenwood Elementary!

Practices will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning
March 22 and continuing through June 7. Practices will be held from 2:30-4:00pm. Snacks will be provided.

Not only will we be learning incredible life skills, but we will work together and encourage one another to run the "Girls on the Run" 5k on Saturday, June 4. Registration will open on February 8 at gotrtwincities.org.

 KICKS Update
We are blown away by the generosity of the Greenwood community! We were able to collect $3,666.28 for Pennies for Patients and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, surpassing last year's total by nearly $1,000. In addition, Greenwood night at Honey & Mackie's raised $675 for the Empson family. Thank you for supporting this important cause!
