Pennies for Patients (P4P)
Our 5th grade Kids in Community Kare & Service (KICKS) students are sponsoring a Pennies for Patients (P4P) coin drive again this year. Students planned several spirit days to help raise awareness and build community in our school. Click HERE for more information about P4P and the specific spirit days. You can also check out the P4P promo video our kids made HERE. Thanks for your support, and more information will be coming from our amazing PTA.
Happy New Year 4th graders have been working hard! We had a blast creating last week's learning update. Click HERE to check out students' latest podcast and to catch a glimpse of some of the collaboration and learning occurring across our school.
Winter Weather Gear Thanks for sending students to school with boots, hats, mittens, snowpants, etc. The appropriate winter gear helps our students access the full array of recess activities while they are outside. Students go outside most days for recess, and we utilize the National Weather Service Windchill Chart to determine if it is too cold to go outside for recess. As a service to our students and families....we are able to return most lost or misplaced winter items if you have your child's name written on the tag. Please double-check labels to ensure the names are still readable.
Make it a great day! Brad Gustafson, Principal

Please remember to call the Health/Attendance Office whenever your child is going to be absent or late. You may leave a message stating the reason for the absence or tardy. If your child is sick, please report their symptoms.
GW's student day begins at 7:45. At that time all students should be in their classrooms. If your child arrives after 7:45 it will be considered a tardy.
The Health/Attendance Office number is 763-745-5515.
