From the Desk of Mr. G

Choir Kudos!

I want to take this opportunity to express my appreciation and a heartfelt congratulations to all of the students, staff and families that participated in the 5th grade after-school musical, "Alice in Wonderland."  What a great accomplishment!  And a very special thank you to Mrs. Gardner for her dedication and work with our students on this "wonderful" experience.  I was unable to attend the evening performance (parent-teacher conferences for my own child), so I have really appreciated hearing the highlights from our students!!  It is always a special thing to see our students share their hidden talents and passions outside of school; when the spotlight is on...Greenwood kids shine!

Construction Update

In the coming days you will see more and more happening with our building addition.  This is an exciting time, and we are really looking forward to next fall when our new gym and four new classrooms are scheduled for completion.  By all accounts, construction is on track.  I will provide updates as new information becomes available.  In the meantime....thank you to EVERYONE for your flexibility and support in navigating the changes to our drop-off routine during construction.  Your cooperation with morning drop-off changes and parking has contributed to a smooth construction process.

Have a WONDERFUL long weekend,

Mr. Brad Gustafson, Principal
