Professional Development and iPad Update
On Friday, January 25, the district provided time for teachers to meet in cross-district grade-level teams around the iPad devices and classroom integration. Our K-2 classrooms will receive their iPads mid-February. We look forward to having a 3:1 ratio in each of our primary classrooms.
Our learning around iPads continues; the PTA sponsored a parent seminar ("Tech Brek") this morning facilitated by Dave Zukor. Together we delved into the MyWay approach and how parents can effectively partner with the school to foster high levels of learning and responsible use.
This learning initiative is aimed at providing students with personalized learning experiences that stimulate creativity and imagination. We want students to experience, connect and interact with the world in ways that traditional textbooks and curriculum alone can't provide.
