MyWay & iPads: A Hands-On Parent Seminar

All parents are encouraged to join us on Thursday, February 7th from 8:30-10:45 a.m. in the Media Center.  Learn key elements of the district's iPad roll-out and how student learning will continue to take center stage.  Important information that parents should know about digital citizenship and supporting student's technology fluency and safety will also be provided.  Parents will be interacting first-hand with the session content using the school's iPads.  Please contact me if you are interested in more information and unable to attend.

Kind Regards,

Mr. Brad Gustafson, Principal

Box Tops School Challenge

Greenwood's "The Sky's the Limit" School Box Tops Challenge will begin in February and run until May. Students and staff are challenged to collect box tops. Box Tops will be counted every two weeks. The results will be displayed on the bulletin board in the front hallway. Greenwood Grizzy will climb to the top of the mountain as Box Tops are turned in.  Greenwood earns 10 cents for each Box Top.

At a school assembly this Spring, several names will be selected in a random drawing for prizes.   Any student that turns in at least one full collection sheet is eligible. The student's name will be entered in the drawing each time they turn in a completed collection sheet. The more sheets they turn in, the better their chances of winning.

Rules for "The Sky's the Limit" Box Tops School Challenge

1. Tape or glue 25 Box Tops to each "The Sky's the Limit" collection sheet. Expired Box Tops cannot be accepted. Please check the expiration date on each label before attaching it to your sheet.

2. Write your name, grade and teacher information at the bottom of each completed Box Tops sheet.

3. Put completed sheets in the top drawer of the Box Tops rolling cart located in the front hallway. Extra sheets can be found in the middle drawer of the rolling cart.

Goals for "The Sky's the Limit" Box Tops School Challenge

Our goal is to collect 5,000 Box Tops during the school challenge. Ask your friends, neighbors and relatives to cut out and save their Box Tops for you.
