Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten Registration is Thursday, Feb. 7th from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Incoming kindergarten students are invited to attend with their parents, and registration paperwork can be turned in during registration or dropped off in the front office beforehand.  Families will rotate through four stations including a registration line and visiting several kindergarten classrooms.  Home Base staff will be on hand to answer questions as well.  We invite you to bring your "future kindergartener" to school on February 7th, and leave siblings at home to make this a special evening for the class of 2026!

*Parents can avoid waiting in longer lines by submitting forms early; everyone needs to submit their child's original birth certificate and a copy.  To ensure a smooth registration night, we are unable to make copies of birth certificates the evening of registration.

Recess & Winter Wear

Students participate in a daily outdoor recess time (weather permitting).  Please be sure your child comes prepared to play outside; hats, gloves, winter jackets, boots and snow pants contribute to a positive recess experience.

Technology/Valuables

We encourage students to leave personal devices/valuables at home (iPods, iPhones, etc.).  There is an inherent risk of the devices being lost or damaged, and a student assumes responsibility for devices they choose to bring to school.  Furthermore, the devices must fit within the district guidelines and are subject to rules pertaining to nuisance devices (students may be tempted to use their personal devices at inappropriate times during instruction).  With this said, we recently had a personal device turn-up missing at school.  Please contact me if you or your child can be of any help in returning the iPod to its owner.

Kind Regards,

Mr. Brad Gustafson, Principal
