Candy for Troops a huge success
The Candy for Troops project sponsored by our fifth grade KICKS students was a huge success. More than 350 pounds of candy was collected! The candy was taken to Imagine Orthodontics in Rogers. Dr. Sarah Soltys Larson and her staff are passionate about this project and were very generous to ship all of the candy. They collected 688 pounds of candy total and shipped it to Operation Gratitude in California. Army personnel made care packages and then sent them overseas. Good job students! And a big thank you to Imagine Orthodontics.

Kudos to health screening volunteers
Thanks to Health Screening Coordinators Susan Lehr and Kim Lawrence and their team of more than 40 volunteers for making Greenwood's health screening a success. Health screening is helpful in detecting problems that interfere with students' education, such as poor vision or hearing. We salute you.
