Greenwood Carnival is October 26

Can you believe it? The Greenwood Carnival will be here right after MEA week! Mark your calendars for Friday, October 26, from 5:30-8:30pm for a night of family fun!

Here are some important Carnival details...

VOLUNTEERS

We need your help! We are still in need of Greenwood adult volunteers to make this a successful event. To sign-up, click   http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0A4FA4A82C7-carnival.

DONATIONS

The silent auction and kids' raffle are dependent on donations of items or services from parents and area merchants. We also benefit from cash sponsorships. Questions or leads for us? Contact Nicole Mackin at nicolemackin@yahoo.com or Pam Christensen at  pamchris@mchsi.com.

TIME AND TALENT

The TnT (Time-n-Talent) section in the silent auction room is looking for people to volunteer their Time and Talents to help raise money for Greenwood. Are you an excellent baker? Donate holiday cookies to be delivered. Do you have a business you would like showcased? Donate your Time (legal services, sewing, interior design, etc). Do you have a movie room? Host a popcorn and move night. We would love to showcase your Talents! Questions or leads for us? Contact Nicole Mackin at nicolemackin@yahoo.com  or Pam Christensen at pamchris@mchsi.com.

CLASSROOM THEME BASKETS

Students are encouraged to donate items (according to their classroom's theme) for baskets to be auctioned at the Carnival. No time to shop? We are happy to accept cash and check donations as well. All donations should be given to your child's teacher by Monday, October 22. Click  HERE to see this year's themes.

JUNK FOOD WALK

To make this popular game a success again this year, we need your generous donations of salty snacks, sweet snacks and LOTS of two-liter bottles of pop or soft drinks. Not sure what to buy? Ask your child! Please bring your items to the Greenwood office by Friday, October 26.

ADOPT-A-PET

The ADOPT-A-PET room has been a great success! Help us offer it again this year by donating your gently used stuffed animals. They can be dropped off in the Greenwood office through Friday, October 19.

BOX TOPS

Start cutting out Box Tops for Education labels! You can earn Carnival tickets by turning them in on Carnival night!
