OVOAD
The Fall OHVOAD ( Ohio Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster) Conference took place on Nov. 14 in Mansfield. Special recognition was given to the Richland County Organization for Disaster Assistance for their outstanding work in recent disaster. About 50 people came from across the spectrum of social services, EMA directors, church affiliates, and the American Red Cross.

Dr. Otha Gilyard (Ohio Baptist General Convention); the Rev. Raafat Zaki (Synod of the Covenant, PCUSA); the Rev. Dr. Charles Tyler, Sr., (African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church). Mr. Steve Salt (Christian Science, Committee on Publication for Ohio) was reaffirmed for a 2nd term.
