Public Vote:

The public is encouraged to vote for their favorite business in each category. This vote is open to everyone (only one (1) vote per person will count) - they do not need to be a Chamber Member or even live in Beverly Hills. Chamber Members, and their employees, may also submit one (1) vote per person in this vote. This portion of voting will be weighted at 50%.

Member Vote:  

Chamber Member businesses will be allowed one (1) vote each. When completing the survey, the Member businesses will need to indicate a) the name of the member business and b) the email address of the business' primary representative. This portion of voting will be weighted at 50%.

Special Olympics World Games

We at the Beverly Hills Chamber are supporting the Special Olympics World Games this year. On June 25th we hosted a day of shopping/eating where businesses donated 3% of their sales proceeds. We are inches await from our goal of collecting 25K.

Volunteer for Special Olympics
For those of you who have not already heard.....the City is a Host City for the Special Olympics.....see below for a volunteer opportunity that may be of interest to you and others in the Beverly Hills community:
 
As part of the City's involvement as a Host City for the upcoming Special Olympics, Michele Gold and Sharona R. Nazarian are recruiting volunteers to assist at events in the City to support the visiting athletes.  The events will take place starting from July 25 through August 5 at various times.  They are also looking for people to attend the actual events.

Pin-Up for Vets  
Gina Elise was made an Honorary Colonel by American Legion on June 19th, 2015 for her work with the Military and Veteran Community the past decade.  Gina's organization, Pin-Ups For Vets, produces WWII style pin-up calendars that raise money support the organization's initiatives.  Pin-Ups For Vets  purchases state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment for VA and Military Hospitals nationwide, ships care packages to deployed troops around the world, and is currently in the middle of a 50-state VA  and Military hospital tour, where the Pin-Ups For Vets Ambassadors hand deliver calendars as appreciation gifts at the hospital bedsides of ill and injured Veterans at VA hospital around the U.S.  They have personally visited over 7,000 hospitalized Veterans.

The organization has also received Congressional Recognition as has been featured on multiple media outlets (Inside Edition, Queen Latifah Show, ABC, NBC, FOX, PBS, among many others).

Gina follows in the footsteps of Marilyn Monroe, Dick Van Dyke and Shirley Temple, who were also made Honorary Colonels.

Mamie Van Doren (pictured above on the left with Gina Elise) was also given the honor that evening for her work with the troops during the Vietnam War.

Mr. Obaji, Mr. Horton-Billard and Gina Elise are all members of the Military Veterans Commerce Committee which is a part of the Beverly Hills 
Chamber of Commerce.
