COMMISH CORNER

Calling all Commissioners! In order to keep our units running smoothly we commissioners need to keep up on the new training requirements and new syllabuses. You may ask why,  I was trained 10 years ago. What is there to learn. As in any job  material changes and there are always updates. Cub presentation has changed dramatically in the past few years. The material is the same with character development and age appropriate skills and crafts but the delivery of the program has switched to the den level not the home. We still need to engage parents to be involved. It is our job as Commissioners to help units engage more adult support in the program. With so much online training we are the only thread of connection to the council and their activities and offerings at camp.  Let us help them be informed by the commissioners being involved and informed.
