Junicon nears 1000 Project Milestone
As the second quarter of a busy 2013 appears over the horizon, so does a major milestone for Junicon. Junicon have recently launched the 978th project since our founding eleven years ago, and expect to cross the 1000 mark this year. Since Junicon's inception our versatility has allowed us to provide insight where our diverse clients need it most and react to specific needs rather than providing off-the-shelf research. Our 978 projects have been commissioned by 134 different clients serving a broad spectrum of healthcare specialties (to see what healthcare areas Junicon have worked in, visit: http://www.junicon.net/junicon-expertise.png)
The last decade has brought some turbulent economic times across the globe, but despite this, Junicon have maintained a steady growth trajectory and have managed to increase project volume year on year by 10% or more in 7 of our 10 full years reported to date.
Consistency and continuity have been important watchwords for us over the last decade. Everyone involved in the creation of Junicon is still part of the Junicon family in 2013 and our low staff attrition rate is consistent across each office.
While we're extremely proud to have worked alongside such a wide range of clients, we believe Junicon's differentiating strength is our ability to be a trusted and ongoing partner. Of the 130+ clients to have commissioned a Junicon project, over half have worked with us on multiple occasions and 23 have commissioned projects in three different calendar years.
However, what really excites us as we look ahead to the remainder of 2013 is not the milestones we've reached so far but those that are yet to come. We sincerely hope and believe that the next thousand projects will be as rewarding as the last, and look forward working with our clients over the next eleven years and beyond.

Michael LoPresti Joins Junicon's Japan Office
Born in the US, Michael moved to Japan 11 years ago after completing two back-to-back graduate degrees covering health economics and epidemiology. He began studying Japanese in high school and never looked back - working as program director for a US-Japan foreign exchange program while in high school and college and spending a year at one of Japan's top universities as a Japanese Ministry of Education scholarship recipient. After a short stint as a research executive covering a wide range of consumer and B2B topics, Michael launched his career as a healthcare marketing and market access expert in Japan. He spent several years as associate director of global research at a large healthcare marketing research agency before setting out on his own to focus more on healthcare market access issues. Michael joins Junicon Japan as managing director and brings with him a proven track record in research design and analysis and an intimate understanding of healthcare pricing and reimbursement strategy in Japan. When not assisting with strategic marketing and market access issues for Japan, Michael can be found feeding carp and various migrant birds at a local Japanese garden with his 3 young kids or enjoying a nice lager with his wife at a local Japanese bluegrass bar. (Yes - Japan does have bluegrass bands.) |
