ANNOUNCEMENTS & EVENTS

Welcome Henry Cone                                             Welcome Abner Miller

The Cone Family:
We welcome Henry Alexander Cone, son of Nicole and Jonathan Cone, brother to Oliver! He was born September 15 at 8 lbs 13 oz, and 21 1/4 inches long. All are doing well. Congratulations!

The Miller Family:
Jenny and Joel Miller welcome their baby boy, Abner.

Welcome Susan Breunig: Nicole Cone (Parish Administrator) is now on
Maternity Leave, and will be out of the office until sometime in December.  Please welcome Susan Breunig to St. Patrick's during this transition. She has been the Business Manager at St. Martin's Church since January 2005. You may recall, she filled in for us during Nicole's previous maternity leave in 2014.

Susan will strictly be doing the critical finance related tasks to keep the financials flowing (e.g., posting contributions, cutting checks for vendors and reimbursements, payroll, etc.)...all on a very part-time basis. Think of her solely as our Business Manager during this transition. You may continue using Nicole's inbox on the door to leave reimbursement requests etc. Please be patient during the initial transition as Susan works out her rhythm.

Susan will be accessible via email only: susan.breunig@stpat.net. All other pastoral needs should be directed to Fr. Dick/Mo. Sarah/Mo. Julia. All other communication/calendar needs, etc. should be directed to Amanda at amanda.vaughn@stpat.net

Thursday Night Bible Study - starting Sept. 22 at 7 pm: In June, we offered a survey about a possible Bible Study at St. Pat's. Robust responses indicate that Thursday nights are the best time for most folks. We will have a first meeting, where we can discuss hopes/ideas and the book we want to study and perhaps even delve in a bit! We will meet on Thursday night, September 22, at 7:00 PM in the Gathering Room. Please feel free to bring coffee/water/snacks/brown-bag dinner if you like. For questions or more information, please contact Mother Sarah. All are welcome! Bring your favorite Bible!

Blessing of the Animals - Oct. 9 at 2 p.m.: Join us on the front lawn for the St. Francis Day Blessing of the Animals. Bring your furry friends - or representatives of them - and have them blessed as we celebrate God's creation and our love for our creatures.
